Marty Turner became the sole owner of Sandbergen Insurance on November 15, 2012. He changed the agency name to “The Turner Insurance Advisor Group, Inc.”
Marty had been with the former Sandbergen Insurance for 15 years and started with the humblest of beginnings and no experience.
He worked his way through the agency and eventually became the top commercial insurance producer within the agency. Hard work, dedication and honesty have allowed Marty a wonderful opportunity to serve Tampa Bay and the company’s valued clients for so many years. Standing on the pillars of hard work and educating the public about the importance of properly insuring your assets, Marty also ensures his employees have up-to-date education, and provides a mentoring environment to every employee in his agency. He specializes in Association insurance coverage, but has the education and extensive knowledge to insure even the most difficult situations.
Lisa is also an owner, and the wife of Marty.
Lisa has 19 years of office management experience, and implements new and efficient business practices to provide our clients with outstanding customer care.
Lisa and Marty have been married 22 fantastic years.
Lisa and Marty have 2 daughters, a beautiful granddaughter, and 3 of the World’s Best Boston Terriers!
Kristen has been in the Insurance industry for over 7 years.
Kristen has assisted 100’s of clients, and offers each client individual guidance with her extensive knowledge in personal lines coverage including – home, flood, auto, umbrella, and special lines for the state of Florida. She is very patient and a great listener, and gives each client outstanding attention.
Kristen also works directly with mortgage brokers and real estate agents to ensure that the necessary insurance is in place for loan closings.
10 months into Kristen’s employment with Turner Insurance she was promoted to Personal Lines Department Manager.
Kristen’s next goal- an Insurance Agency of her own.
Sydney comes to Turner Insurance from West Virginia.
Sydney started with Turner Insurance as our Personal Lines Customer Service Representative.
It was within months that Sydney moved into the Personal Lines Account Manager position.
Sydney is driven and is excited about a career in the Insurance industry. Her desire to learn, and pass that knowledge along to her clients, has already made Sydney’s clients feel they are getting great customer care.
Sydney is already building a happy client base, and we know she we only continue to do so.
Lizzy joined Turner Insurance in November 2017 as our Certificate Processor.
By March 2018 her potential to be a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative was very clear.
Lizzy obtained her 440 Insurance License and is now working in the Personal Lines department as the Customer Service Representative.
Lizzy has accepted the challenge and is learning and growing, and she maintains a “can do” attitude.
Lizzy is a very important part of the Personal Lines Department and can assist clients with payments, change of address, Insurance card replacement and so much more.

Arthur "Skip" Sprague
Skip started his successful career at the former Sandbergen Insurance with no experience in Commercial Insurance. He worked alongside Marty, and quickly excelled in the Commercial Insurance Department. Skip has built a strong foundation with his Commercial Clients. Skip’s goal is to ensure that each Commercial Client is insured properly; based on their specific individual needs, which has helped him grow his Commercial Client accounts, and retain many happy clients annually.
Justine has a long history with the agency. Justine and Marty met at Central Insurance School during their 220 licensing course, and Justine encouraged the former Sandbergen Insurance owners to interview Marty…..the rest is history.
Justine provides her Commercial Clients with competent explanations and personable service.
Justine brings her 19 years of extensive knowledge and experience to her valued commercial clientele.
Justine has a dedication and enthusiasm to find a solution for the Commercial Clients she insures, and her many years of working at Turner Insurance has earned her many happy clients.
Jackie brings her 6 years of Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative experience to our agency.
In the ever-changing world of Insurance, Jackie strives to learn and grow as the industry dictates.
Jackie is an integral part of the Commercial Lines Department and Jackie can assist our clients in all aspects of the Commercial Lines.
